1.Plan Adult Learning (CT1)
Fundamentals of adult learning, key andragogy principles and learning-style theory, characteristics of a competent trainer, the HRD Corp code of ethics and conduct, and the ADDIE training cycle used to frame the whole programme.
2.Conduct Training Needs Analysis (CT2)
The purpose and benefits of TNA, the 4 levels of needs analysis, competency gap analysis, and practical TNA methods (interviews, surveys, observation, audits) that translate organisational needs into an annual training plan.
3.Design Competency-Based Training Programme (CT3)
Aligning TNA outcomes to instructional design, writing SMART learning outcomes using Bloom's Taxonomy, sequencing content and session plans, selecting delivery modes, and developing training materials and resources.
4.Deliver & Facilitate Training Sessions (CT4)
Pre-session preparation checklists, presentation and platform skills, facilitation tools and techniques, use of digital and eLearning tools, and managing challenging participants and group dynamics.
5.Interactive Training Methodologies & Learner Engagement
Applying motivational strategies and active-learning methods including case studies, role-plays, demonstrations, work-based projects, games, simulations and group work, with questioning and testing techniques to monitor learning.
6.Assess Participant Competence & Training Effectiveness (CT5)
Principles of competency-based assessment and rules of evidence, developing tools and methods to assess knowledge and performance, administering assessments, and evaluating impact using the Kirkpatrick and Phillips (ROI) models.
7.Certification & Accreditation Pathway
Consolidating key learnings into a post-training action plan and progressing through the HRD Corp accreditation route (TTT completion, Certificate in Training, accreditation assessment) to qualify as an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer.
