2.Identifying the 8 Wastes & Non-Value-Added Activity
Defining waste (muda) and making it visible across processes, working through the 8 wastes, and using the 3K method to spot non-value-added activity and prioritise improvement opportunities.
3.Standardised Work & the Concept of Work
Understanding the concept of work and why standardised work is the baseline for improvement, creating waste-free systems and procedures, and setting up standardised work step by step to lock in gains.
